Subject Leaders Networking
Subject Leaders Networking Day.
This University English facilitated event brings together a diverse group of academic leaders (from a range of universities and across regions) who have strategic responsibilities in English language, literature and creative writing.
The event is aimed at providing an excellent networking opportunity and a forum to share and discuss experiences with your peers. It is structured around contributions from two main speakers, and we also place a strong emphasis on small discussion groups and workshops to get to the core of the issues that are affecting you now.
Previous networking days have been organised and facilitated by the English Subject Group in the Higher Education Academy (HEA) in collaboration with UE.
UE is a professional organisation that represents the teaching of English in the universities and promotes the discussion of shared issues across our members and shareholders. You do not need to be a member to attend this away day. However, we have timed it to fit conveniently with University English’s AGM and conference at the same venue. If you would like to attend the conference and AGM in addition to the networking day, please see how to join UE here.
